About Us
OUR MISSION

OUR VISION
To ensure the long-term sustainability of physicians and to enhance physician services for the people of Neepawa and surrounding area.
OUR HISTORY
Beautiful Plains Community Medical Centre (BPCMC) has a proud legacy of delivering high-quality, community-centred healthcare in Neepawa and the surrounding area.
Our story began in the 1960s, when several local physicians operated independent practices. Seeking greater efficiency and collaboration, Dr. Jakobson, Dr. Dobson, and Dr. Dawson opened the Neepawa Medical & Dental Clinic on February 23, 1970.
Dr. George Ong, long-time Neepawa doctor and collaborative healthcare advocate.
Through the 1970s and 1980s, the clinic saw many dedicated physicians come and go, including Dr. George Ong, who joined the community in 1979. When the original clinic partnership dissolved in 1984, Dr. Chapman purchased the building, and Dr. Ong went on to establish his own clinic in 1996.
In 2010, the Neepawa & Area Development Corporation (NADCO Ltd)—supported by the Town of Neepawa and the municipalities of Rosedale, North Cypress-Langford, and Glenella-Lansdowne—acquired the clinic from Dr. Chapman to help secure the future of local healthcare.
Today, BPCMC is a testament to that ongoing community investment and to Dr. Ong’s vision of a collaborative, patient-focused medical centre. The clinic is guided by a partnership between physicians, the Clinic Board of Directors, NADCO, and the Neepawa & District Medical Committee — working together to ensure quality care for all.
