Welcome Dr. Eleche

We are thrilled to have Dr. Eleche join our physician group at BPCMC!

Originally from Nigeria, Dr. Eleche describes his path into medicine as both challenging and rewarding. Before entering the medical field in Canada, he worked as a community integration worker at a traumatic brain injury centre and later as a public health specialist with the Canadian Red Cross.

Dr. Eleche went on to work as a clinical assistant in a family medical clinic, eventually entering the MLIMG (Medical Licensure Program for International Medical Graduates) residency program, with most of his training based at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.

Having travelled across Manitoba in recent years, Dr. Eleche says he was drawn to the Prairie Mountain Health region for its peaceful surroundings, welcoming communities, and friendly people, qualities that make it a great place to build his practice.

Outside of work, Dr. Eleche enjoys hiking, playing sports, and volunteering in any way he can. He also values spending quality time with family and friends. He is excited to settle into Neepawa and begin serving the residents of the community and surrounding area.

We’re thrilled to have Dr. Eleche join our health region and look forward to the care and compassion he will bring to patients in Neepawa and beyond.

Dr. Eleche will be accepting patients through the Family Doctor Finder (FDF) program and will begin seeing these patients in January of 2026.
